Modernity and the Middle East.

For the final project in my Spring 2021 semester Anthropology of the Middle East course taught by Matthew DeMaio, I chose a theme we have encountered in our study of the anthropology of the Middle East and produced a multi-modal booklet that explored and analyzed the theme of Modernity and the Middle East. The project required me to analyze visual, audio, and narrative works as well as deploy scholarly concepts and theories to explore the theme of my choice. This assignment provided me with the chance to encounter different ways of thinking and studying anthropologically and ethnographically.
