The goal of the GW Armenian Students Association is to unite students and connect members of Armenian heritage to one another.
As the GW ASA President, I serve as the principal administrative contact for the organization. Among other duties, I also promote GW ASA and its events through graphic content across the social media platforms that I manage.

GWU ASA X MSU ASA.
The "Armenian Diaspora in the United States" lecture and presentation series was a collaborative event organized by the Armenian Student Associations of the George Washington University and Lomonosov Moscow State University.
The event was a success, with over 100 attendees virtually and in person on the MSU campus, and set a precedent of cross-cultural communication and connection among students of the Armenian diasporas of the US and Russia.

St. Sarkis Fundraiser
This Spring, the Armenian Students Association put together a fundraiser sharing our Valentine’s Day traditions with the GWU community. The fundraiser was a huge success, raising over $200 for our student organization.

The Promise Watch Party Fundraiser
Following the Beirut explosion in August of 2020, the GWASA held a Netflix Party screening of The Promise. We raised $100 towards Urgent Support for Lebanese Armenians.

Advocacy and Aid to Artsakh
Educating our community on the issues we face as Armenian Americans is an important part of what we do as an organization. Following the outbreak of war in Artsakh in 2020, GW ASA shared information on social media and raised funds for humanitarian aid to those affected by war in Armenia and Artsakh.

ASA United is a nationwide coalition of US Armenian Student Associations.
As the GW ASA President, I also represent our chapter of ASA United on its Social Media Committee.
